About the Hunt
All guests are scheduled to arrive after lunch on Day 1 of their hunting experience. We will greet you and get you situated into your accommodations at the lodge.
After unpacking, hunters will have the opportunity to get in some shooting at our rifle range to make sure the rifles are sighted in if you choose to do so. We will then head out on your first hunt!
Hunters can choose from 2 types of hunts at the Killebrew Ranch.
DAY HUNT OPTION:
- The DAY HUNT OPTION is for those hunters who want to stay off property.
- A sandwich lunch is provided for hunters on the day of the hunt.
- Payment for the DAY HUNT OPTION consists of the rate for the animal chosen to hunt. There will also be a $100 guide fee per day.
- If the hunter does not harvest their animal on the first day, they can return for a second day if they pay an additional $100 guide fee if there are no other hunters scheduled to arrive that day.
3 DAY 2 NIGHT HUNT OPTION:
This is the preferred hunt for most clients as it will offer you the best chance for success.
- Food and lodging for 2 nights
- 2 meals per day
- Transportation to and from your stand.
- All skinning and caping and quartering of your animal.
- All hunts will be semi guided. We hunt in shooting houses, tree stands, as well as spot and stalk.
- Hunt schedule:
- Day 1: Afternoon hunt after paying fees and checking in.
- Day 2: Morning hunt and afternoon hunt
- Day 3: Morning hunt
- A payment of $100 deposit is due at the time of booking and the remaining balance is due before the hunt is over
- We welcome non-hunting guests to accompany hunters for $250 per day.
